Proyecto geotécnico e hidrológico para la estabilización e identificación de medidas de mitigación en la zona del deslizamiento de Quilloac
(2014) Ramos Bermeo, Valeria Paola; Vázquez López, Benigno Alfredo
The geotechnical and hydrological project about stabilization and identification of mitigation measures takes place in Quilloac, which is located in Cañar province. The studied landslide in this area is flow type. There has been a characterization of the area to define the destabilizing factors to choose the most appropriate method of calculation and stability. With the results obtained from the geophysics, soil laboratory testing, and reference tables, the geotechnical parameters, are determined to apply the model of stability in GEOSTUDIO 2007 software by Spencer method and Morgenstern-Price method. Due to the magnitude of the removal mass, there are no stability measures; so that, mitigation measures are proposed. The entire study area has the same lithological formation. It has only one pluviometric and weather station. Also, it has the same seismic factor, so a threating map is not of great value in small areas with some variables in parameters. In this area, only the slope factor is variable and it does not indicate the level of threating. Wherareas in safety areas of this phenomenon, are outside the boundaries of landslides. As a result, models of stability, analysis of dangers zones, safety areas and possible mitigation measures such as: drainage and state policies are presented. Finally, monitoring the Quilloac area is recommended because several phenomena mass removal is acting and, it would be of great importance that Quilloaccommunity obtain a monitoring network with warning and alarming measures.
