    Determinación del estado nutricional de los niños de 1 año a 5 años del programa de fortalecimiento familiar y desarrollo comunitario Aldeas (SOS) de la parroquia Ricaurte, Cuenca 2010

    A descriptive investigation of quantitative type with the objective was realized To determine the nutritional state of the children and children of 1 to 5 years of the Program of Familiar Fortification and Communitarian Development Infantile Villages SOS of the Ricaurte Parish, River basin March - August 2010, worked the universe that constitute 100 niñas/os of which with exclusion criteria 69 niñas/os are being 35 children and 34 children yet. In order to evaluate the nutritional state by means of anthropometric indicators variables were used:sex, age, weight (Kilograms) and chart (centimeters), type of feeding, origin.-For the presentation and anthropometric data processing I am used you formulate of Nelson and Go'mez according to the undernourishment degrees, also making relation P/E, T/E, P/T, undernourishment degrees. The used materials were the up-to-date tables of the MSP obtaining 25 children with slight undernourishment being located in percentile -2, 33 niños/as in percentile 0 staying within normal parameters and 11 niños/as with overweight being inpercentile 2. Since the feeding in the smaller children of 5 years game a very important paper within the growth improving the health state.- In conclusion it has been managed to identify niños/as that has slight undernourishment, an aspect to consider in the first years of life is the amount of iron that contributes the diet. Being important the suitable use of the five food groups and to be leaving to the bad customs and traditions that negatively influence for the good growth and development in this vulnerable group of the society.AU
