    Consecuencias emocionales en niños y niñas de las madres que viven violencia intrafamiliar del Centro las Marías. Gualaceo, 2013

    Objective. Determine the prevalence of emotional impact on children women victims of domestic violence Gualaceo, 2013. Material and methods. This was a descriptive study, as the interview technique test was used to assess emotional consequences in children / family violence as living. The study group was 153 children aged between 6 and 12 years. The sample included 60 participants (27 girls) and (33 children). Data were evaluated through numerical scales, the results are presented with frequencies and percentages through graphs. Results. The results of the study reject the hypothesis. percentages less emotional involvement was found in criteria such as insecurity (25%), low self-esteem (26.6%), confusion (28.33%), decreased dialogue at home (25%), lack of interest in pleasurable activities (23.33%), difficulty sharing with other children (20%), difficulty with attention and concentration 33.33% and sleep disorders (28.33 %). and, it was found that over 50%of children respondents have emotional disturbances such as anxiety (50%), aggression (51.66 %), isolation (53.33 %). Discussion. An individual suffering from developing systematic adverse events at home can alter your psyche; conduct manifesting itself in behavior. Hence we show behaviors such as aggression, withdrawal, anxiety, confusion, low self esteem, lack of care and concern.
