    Valoración del estado nutricional de los/las estudiantes de las escuelas fiscales mixtas Reinaldo Chico García y Ulises Chacón de San José de Balsay de la Parroquia San Sebastián, Cuenca, 2009-2010

    Was made a descrptive study with the objetive to have the value the nutritional state of the students of public schools Reinaldo Chica Garcia y Ulises Chacón of San José de Balsay from San Sebastian. Cuenca - Ecuador 2009 - 2010. In coordination with the Virgen del Milagro Healthcenter, in wich belongs both schools in study. We toke the antropometric info size, weight in the quetionaries, for then built the IMC, that let classified to the 171 people inside the group studied The stadistic analysis and the tablas was made in Excel 2007 program. Main results 17% and 23% of boys and girls respectively were found in the percentiles 5 to 10 corresponding to malnutrition at the other end, 21% and 9% of children in the percentiles 90 - 95, which means obesity and overweight. Malnutrition was higher in girls and overweight and obesity in men.
