    Factores de riesgo relacionados con el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas: alcohol, tabaco y bebidas energizantes en adolescentes de bachillerato del Colegio Técnico Guillermo Mensi. Cuenca 2015

    Background: This research aims to know the reality of substance use among adolescents in school Guillermo Mensi Technical College of the City of Cuenca 2015. According to the INEC 2010 census it indicates that the use of psychoactive substances in Ecuador begins at 12 years old. Objective: To identify risk factors associated with the consumption of psychoactive substances, alcohol, snuff and energy drinks in high school teenagers Guillermo Mensi Technical College. Methods and materials: A descriptive study, quantitative, prospective cross-sectional. The universe consisted of 250 students and a sample of 151 adolescents. Applied techniques such as interviews with students, application form, and test MASTA. The tabulation of the data was performed using the programs Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, SPSS version 21, graphs and tables. Results: The results allowed to identify the actual situation of adolescents with eating substances and analyze the different risk factors. The results will be delivered to the institution to promote preventive measures. Conclusions: In this study it was determined that if students use psychoactive substances. The average age of first use of alcohol and snuff was 13 to 15 years, and energy drinks from 11 to 14; factors relating family, individual and social risk
