Cuenca 2016(2017) Patiño Guaraca, Tatiana Patricia; Placencia Ochoa, Adriana Melisa; Altamirano Cárdenas, Ruth Ximena; Rodríguez Sánchez, Dolores AmparitoAccording to the magazine CUIDARTE, the consumption of psychoactive substances produce a great global concern making it a complex fact. It involves diverse and varied factors such as: personal, familiar and social with a great effect in health, education and public security. The descriptive study of the magazine Colombiana de Psiquiatria shows the existence of biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors in which the family also plays an important role. There are phenomena such as domestic violence, inadequate raising patterns, negative parental consumption guide, and attention deficit from parents to children among others. General Objective: To determine the factors that influence in the psychoactive substances consumption in the rehabilitation centers CENTERAVID and CETAC, Cuenca 2016. Methodology: It was a descriptive study. It had a finite universe on the rehabilitation centers CENTERAVID and CETAC Cuenca 2016 with a previous permission to the legal representatives. Afterwards, a survey was applied which was previously analyzed and validated. Results: The predominant sex was the male one with a 99% of the survey respondents. The type of substance consumed the most was alcohol (61%), followed by cocaine (37, 1 %), and as the last one marihuana (29, 5). The factors that have influenced were psychological, social, individual, familiar and cultural. Conclusion: This study allowed us to identify the factors that influence to consume psychoactive substances
