Open public spaces (EPAs) play a fundamental role in the lives of people and the city, allowing social interaction and the development of different activities. For their design and construction, it is essential to consider the diversity of users and ensure their accessibility and safety. This study identified the factors that affect the accessibility and mobility of people with visual disabilities (blind and low vision) within these spaces. Through experimental qualitative interviews and the implementation of tactical urbanism, the functionality of the proposed architectural solutions was developed and validated. During this process, the collaboration of experts, people with low vision, blindness and experts in research with people with visual disabilities was counted on. With the results obtained, guidelines were proposed that can be applied to different urban spaces and thus promote greater inclusion for all users.
