Commerce is a fundamental aspect of city life, since it generates zones of exchange of social relations and services, produces centralities and demonstrates the dynamism within a sector. It is worth mentioning that during the confinement caused by the pandemic, the importance of the location of these commercial points near housing has been evident, which is why the challenge of this research lies in establishing strategies for the spaces intended for the commercialization of basic necessities based on the impacts generated by the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, the study focuses on the analysis and evaluation of these spaces from the internal sphere to their operation within the Narancay neighborhood; likewise, it exposes the transformation of their post- Covid-19 use. Strategies are established considering the positive and negative aspects determined in the study area, aimed at local self-sufficiency and the approach of new forms of commercialization considering the new normal, which view biosafety standards limiting the spread of the virus in order for users to be able to carry out their activities safely, through the creation of itinerant and multifunctional spaces, adaptable to changing circumstances and needs, which do not necessarily require a complex infrastructure to generate optimal access for all citizens of the neighborhood and surrounding areas, so that the close proximity becomes permanent.
