    Evaluación estructural del efecto del mortero de pega sobre probetas de muro de ladrillo de tierra compactada bajo esfuerzos de comprensión axial

    This research focuses on obtaining technical knowledge for proper manufacture and use of compacted blocks or BTC as an alternative to clay bricks baked earth. The particle sizes and types of soils that have better results on tests conducted by different researchers and are now part of some building codes in land is analyzed. Determining the issue of optimum compaction and different moisture stabilization processes to improve the resistance to direct moisture it is also played. Trials have been conducted in order to determine the effect of curing in the BTC as well as the drying time thereof being obtained results help to understand the behavior of these elements. Prior to making walls it is necessary to know all the variables involved, so it has been determined the percentage of water absorsion BTC, determining the fineness modulus of sand and mortars dosages for different low walls test. Finally the relationships between different mortars and resitencias compression of the low walls tested, obtaining criteria for choosing a mortar to achieve maximize the resistance to compression set brick mortar are determined
