Cuenca 2015(2015-11-11) Gúzman Salinas, Mercy Verónica; Mogrovejo Castro, María Silva; Pinos Arteaga, Paulina Andrea; Sempértegui León, Silvia RocíoBACKGROUND: Inclusion is the process of identifying and responding to the needs of all children and involves changes and modifications in contents and strategies. The term Inclusion emerged in the 90's decade, being a time where recognizes the rights of persons with disabilities. Inclusion means that all children need to be included in the educational and social life. A school to give a suitable answer to the needs of their students must perform new and innovative pedagogical proposals to stimulate the involvement of all. GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Capacitate about inclusion of disabilities to parents of the Infantile Center “Travesuras” of the city of Cuenca. METHODOLOGY: A study of quasi-experimental type was done from April to June 2015. The study was realized with 57 parents of the Infantile Center "Travesuras" in the city of Cuenca through the application a pre-caps to evaluate the knowledge they had about disability inclusion. The parents were trained on the subject and finally a post-cap was applied to evaluate the achieved knowledge. The level of Knowledges on disability increased from 73.7% to 93%. Knowledge about inclusive education increased from 68.4% to 80.7%. USE OF RESULTS: With the results workshops were offered to parents on the topic of disability inclusion. The same that helped them gain a better understanding and knowledge of the subject
