(Universidad de Cuenca, 2013-06) Cabrera, María Alezandra; Pinos, David; Pulla, María Fernanda
Arsenic (As) is a metalloid found naturally in air, soil and water. Have toxicological importance due to its environmental impact even in little concentrations. It is released by human activities and naturally by the earth’s crust. People can be exposed to arsenic mainly through food and water, especially in certain areas where groundwater comes into contact with arsenic containing minerals.
