(2015) Pino Arias, Paulina Michelle; Brito Vásquez, Vicente Enrique
This graduation paper studies the behavior and evolution of the aerobic – anaerobic resistance capacity as result of the application of intermittent – interval training methodology during a competition stage, in a second category soccer team. The study is about the measurement of lactic acid accumulation levels, and his relation with other physiological factors as cardiac frequency reached and, in the case of physical evaluations, VO2 max. of each player. The control process goes on before (on initial physical evaluations), during (on training weeks) and after (on final physical evaluations) the competition. This research pretends to know the effects that the proposed training methodology causes in this particular kind of soccer teams. The project uses five chapters for its development; the first one is about all the biological elements that participate in the energy cycle and each one of their functions especially during the exercise. The second chapter pretends the comprehension of soccer physiological features and contains the proposal of Intermintent – interval training methodology. The third chapter is the application of the proposal and describes the methodology of each stage involved in the research process. Fourth Chapter contains statistical analysis of obtained results and the discussion about exposed theories. Finally fifth chapter exposes the conclusions get from this graduation research.

This project aims to analyze the errors in the execution of technical gestures: hand kick, half-height kick, and floor kick in goalkeepers with the help of technology. The participants of this study were goalkeepers from the Goalkeeper_Cuenca Academy in the city of Cuenca and professional goalkeepers from Gualaceo Sporting Club. For this research, a quantitative methodology was applied at a case study level. Different instruments and processes were used in each phase. Therefore, in the diagnosis stage, an analysis of technical gestures was required and the Kinovea program was used. Furthermore, this process was complemented with the next phase, where the errors of the technical gestures were determined under a quantitative criteria evaluation. Finally, the results obtained in the previous stages helped to do an in-depth analysis and a comparison between amateur and professional goalkeepers. The final results showed similarities and differences in terms of errors and which of them were the most common ones in the two groups. The research results demonstrated the shortcomings involved in each of the technical gestures studied, highlighting errors in steering and striking characteristics. In addition, amateur goalkeepers compared to professional goalkeepers showed a greater incidence in committing more errors in the execution of technical gestures in the direction of the ball and in the hitting in the service from the floor. With the implementation of technology; it is expected that the research will be novel, helping current and future researchers or academy goalkeepers to carry out a training plan to correct their errors in the execution of technical gestures (hand kick, halfheight kick, and floor kick).

The main objective of this bibliographic review is to analyze the benefits on the physical condition and psychological effects that physical activity produces in hypertensive elderly people, through a bibliographic review. In this way, I sought to investigate how physical activity helps to improve the physical condition of the hypertensive older adult as well as improve their mental health, which will allow the adult to carry out activities of daily living independently, thus improving your quality of life. For this review, articles in Spanish published between January 2000 and August 2020 were included. The bibliographic search was carried out in the following databases: Medline Plus, Scielo, Dialnet, and Google Scholar and the following keywords were used "activity physical”, “arterial hypertension”, “elderly” and “psychological effects”. The study design is a bibliographic review. A total of 200 articles were found, of which 17 articles met the inclusion criteria and were selected for the preparation of this bibliographic review. As results of this research, it was found that physical activity is very beneficial, since it reduces blood pressure values, thus reducing the risk of mortality, improves physical condition with respect to strength, flexibility, aerobic capacity, and balance, and psychologically, physical activity reduces depression and sleep problems. The type of activity recommended for older adults with arterial hypertension is aerobic, such as: walking, running, swimming, cycling, among others, which should be practiced at a moderate intensity between 40-60% of VO2 max, with a frequency of 3-4 times a week for 30-60 min daily.

The objective of this research is to define the effect of the application of two psychological programs on the physical performance and specific motor skills of young people from soccer academies in the city of Cuenca by proposing relationships and comparisons. The age of the participants is between 12 and 16 years old and they are from 2 clubs of formative divisions of the city of Cuenca. It is a quantitative methodology intervention with a quasi-experimental approach with a correlational-causal scope. The variables of this study are physical performance, specific motor skills and finally psychological skills. First, the soccer players underwent an initial evaluation to assess psychological skills, physical performance and specific motor skills, then two psychological preparation programs were applied and finally a final evaluation of the variables initially taken. Based on these variables, all the results were tabulated and successfully analyzed, thus proving the positive effect that the two psychological programs had on our variables, thus fulfilling our objectives. The results of the study show a significant improvement in the psychological skills of sports performance having an effect on physical performance and specific motor skills in soccer, which show statistically significant changes in each test. It is thus concluded that there is a correlation between the variables raised in the study.

The lack of knowledge about the prevalence of injuries and risk factors (RF) is one of the main problems in football soccer schools in the city of Cuenca. The main objective of this research is to analyze the prevalence of injuries and their R.F. in four football soccer schools in Cuenca. The study has a retrospective observational design and the sample is composed of 92 soccer players from 16 to 18 years old belonging to a soccer school in the city. To measure the prevalence of injuries and risk factors, the questionnaires “Injury and Illness Surveillance Daily Report Form” and “LEFUTCOL” were used respectively. Linear regression techniques and bivariate models were used to analyze the relationship between injury prevalence and its risk factors. The results revealed that the areas most frequently affected by injuries are the knee, ankle and thigh, with the most common types of injuries being tears, sprains and fractures. In addition, statistically significant risk factors were identified (p<0.05) which are: changing footwear according to the playing surface (p=0.002), performing complementary recovery work (p=0.036) and performing complementary proprioception work (p=0.0005). These variables stand out as the most influential risk factors in the injuries of soccer players in the city of Cuenca.

The present research study focuses on the implementation of a teaching program of technical fundaments based on a playful method for soccer goalkeepers among Foundation and Participation Football Stages (age from 8 to 10). The participants were from the “JC” Soccer Academy located in the city of Cuenca-Ecuador. The study arose from the need to counteract the forms of teaching used in academies, the same ones that are based on empirical knowledge and practices of activities whit similarities to the competition. Therefore, the child generates errors in the execution of the goalkeeper ́s technical gestures. In this point, the implemented program is distinguished by its foundations based on technical and pedagogical principles with a playful method. As teaching methodologies used in the academies, they are based empire method. On the other hand, the competition causes the child to incorrectly performs the technical skills. The playful method involved differentiates this plan from those applied in the rest of the academies. The methodology section used quantitative and based on the creation of a teaching program for used in 4 weeks; moreover, different activate exercises were designed for each day of the weeks. As a previous and post-evaluation instrument, a checklist was used, it evaluated the specific goalkeeper’s technical skills: body position, command voice, retention, clearance, direction, and positioning of defenders; those technical skills were assessed based on a four criteria scale: Insufficient, Regular, Good and Excellent. In addition, the Wilcoxon test was applied to evaluate the readability of the teaching program, determining that the p value is less than 0.05, being an effective teaching program with a confidence level of 95% and with 100% valid data. As a result, it was obtained that the children showed gradual differences in the seven items evaluated. It was concluded that using a teaching program based on a playful method for goalkeepers during the foundation-participation stage in soccer had a positive impact to improve the execution of the goalkeeper’s technical skills.
