Item Percepciones de los docentes sobre la educación virtual en pandemia empleada para la enseñanza-aprendizaje de Ciencias Naturales(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-09-05) Peña Lluguay, Erika Tatiana; Pillco Morocho, Janneth Graciela; Cordero Palacios, Raquel MaríaVirtual education was a big challenge for teachers, who were not prepared to perform the teaching process with the use of virtual tools. The present work of investigation has as general goal to analyze the perception of teachers about virtual education during the pandemics applied for the teaching of science; specific objectives: 1) to identify the difficulties that have had the teachers to develop the science classes with the virtual education during the pandemics; 2) To look for to identify the benefits that stand out the virtual education in the teaching process of science in the pandemics. That was because the COVID-19 became a huge challenge of adaptation from all points of view. To perform this research work it was considered several international, national, and regional facts which keep relation with the present investigation linked with the theoretical, methodological, and conceptual point of view. The methodology was focused in a qualitative way with a descriptive documental design. The chosen sample was made up by ten teachers from the educational institution. Among the most important conclusions with the defined results, it is necessary to mention that the creation of pedagogical environments based in the TICs is crucial in the current time, because it facilitates the educational practice that, given the sanitary emergency generated by COVID-19, it was performed in its great majority in a remote way, so, from this reality comes the importance of considering the resources that the innovative methodologies based in educational technology give to education.
