    Optimización y mejora de las instalaciones eléctricas de luminarias y motores en el taller de carpintería "Los Eucaliptos" – Jima

    In the industry whatever big or small, it is so fundamental to expect with a type of sure electrical installations and lending on this way energy efficiency to guarantee the process of production and job security. In the Azuay province, Canton Sigsig, Parroquia Jima, there is a carpentry workshop named “Los Eucaliptos” which belongs to Jorge Huayllasaca Fernandez, but unfortunately its electrical installations present several deficiencies including the lack of adequate thermomagnetic protections for the circuit, all its electrical conductors are in very poor condition; which are obviously electrical risks, obsolete ignition levers and no ground connection. In this degree work named Optimización y mejora de las instalaciones eléctricas de luminarias y motores en el taller de carpintería "Los Eucaliptos" – Jima, proposes to carry out a complete diagnosis, redesign the electrical installations of the workshop, improve working conditions, install new electrical circuits for motors, lights and outlets mainly .The methodological approach used was through a complete diagnosis of the place to determine existing problems, in order to make the best decisions that involve the redesign of the entire electrical part, guaranteeing that the workshop is in better conditions to operate without any potential risks and complying with the required regulations. As conclusion, it was possible to get a better electrical system by implementing new circuits and electrical conductors in order to get better operation system and following the most important rules to have a save place based on the normative according to the electric code.
