    Principales patologías atendidas en el área de ginecología y obstetricia, en el departamento de emergencia del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso en el año 2005

    Descriptive study whose study population included a number of 399 patients randomized sample of 6652 as we were attended during the year 2005. The main objective of the study was to identify the main pathologies treated in this service, taking into account variables such as age, habitual residence, period coursing as pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum; Quarterly pregnancy, number of deeds and final reference patient from books emergency service. The results obtained during the investigation correspond to a 83causas obstetric and gynecological causes 5.85de. Within obstetric pathologies that most frequently found were: abortion with 3.51, preterm labor 3.26y one 2.26de hypertensive disorders. Among gynecological pathologies the highest percentage were: abscess, mammary gland, and genitorragias vulvovaginitis. Regarding the age groups most often occurred between 18-35 years and those from urban areas. As was evident the influx of patients to the service of gynecology and obstetrics it is important, so that the implementation protocols for these diseases is recommended to facilitate and provide a better service for users
