    Estereotipos de género en el fútbol femenino, desde la visión de las futbolistas del Deportivo Cuenca “categorías formativas” periodo septiembre 2019 - febrero 2020

    The present research project, it realizes it in the city of Cuenca in the formative ones of the sportive feminine Cuenca, period September 2019 - February 2020, the same one that deals with investigating which gender stereotypes are more frequent in women's football and how these affect their sporting performance, emotional health, their psychological state and whether there is desertion from the sport as a result of gender stereotypes. Knowing that sport maintains a deeply androcentric structure, Therefore, sport is one of the spaces that most discriminates against women. This discriminatory treatment of women is deeply marked by gender stereotypes that are ingrained in society's thinking. The main results of the research were that the most frequent gender stereotypes are those related to women's identity, women's sexuality, traditional gender roles, and women's strength and ability. It has been concluded that many of these gender stereotypes are unconsciously reproduced without knowing the true meaning behind them, such as the assumption that because a woman plays football she will become a tomboy or butch terms that in themselves have the same meaning and are reproduced by society, gender stereotypes that are reproduced by certain groups that are mostly adult men
