    Neurociencias aplicadas al diseño urbano. Anteproyecto de un parque para adultos mayores en la parroquia Baños de Cuenca, Ecuador

    In the last years, human behavior and factors that have influence in some way with their acts have been studied Nueroscience is in charge of study this facts, however, other subjects such as architecture is envolve to understand how the context in wich we live can change how people develop. When this two subects get combined they take the name of: Neuroarchitecture and Neurourbanism. Based on what was explained belore, it arises a park designed for older people in Baños (Cuenca) fundamented in architect design strategies, supported in an inductive method, diagnosing emotional and cogntive user reactions, this reactions can be useful during the creative fase of this project. In conclusion, in the design of urban spaces is needed to consider the results and then apply them as strategies to have a space accessible for older poople and also pleasant for their emotions. The urban space take place along the “Loma de los Hervideros” is a place that has a rugged topography so we appeal to use ramps for universal access to reach the top, along if, there is a runway and furniture that is strategically located in different areas, by the way if has rest zones, and plazas with recreation and entertainment areas, while the materials that are used, fit in friendly with the notural and build enviroment.
