    Metodología para el diseño, creación y evaluación de dashboard de visualizaciones de datos para el desarrollo del observatorio de learning analytics

    Today there are large amounts of data that are difficult to understand and analyze through spreadsheets or textual reports, so data visualization dashboards have become an easy and fast way to convey ideas or messages through data. However, there is no consensus about the process involved in the creation of a data visualization dashboard, since many of the published guides and/or de facto proposals do not address steps or phases that integrate the entire process from the conception of the idea to the evaluation of the dashboard and that all these phases are in the same publication. Given the problems presented, this degree work proposes a methodological proposal for the design, creation and evaluation of data visualization dashboards oriented to developers with experience in the design of visualizations, people with some knowledge about programming or people without any previous experience on the subject and who wish to create a dashboard. For the creation of the methodological proposal, a literature review was carried out, with the purpose of evidencing the current state of the subject, finding weak points in each of the works related to the proposed topic. In addition, to validate the feasibility of the methodological proposal, the guidelines were followed and used to create a dashboard for the learning analytics observatory. Throughout the development of this work, a methodological proposal is proposed and applied, which covers all the phases required to create a dashboard of data visualizations.
