Item Instalación artística: una reseña sobre la violencia contra la mujer en Ecuador(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-05-01) Morocho Morocho, Jennifer Estefanía; Paguay Verdugo, Lina Lisbeth; Pacheco Ayora, Sonia KatterineThis degree work refers to the violence against women issue, throughout collaborative arts practices which end up in an installation artwork that puts out different significances. Installation art has increased its popularity in recent decades; this art form allows artists to decontextualize several objects and place them in diverse locations, creating new meanings. In our contemporary era, installation art is considered a powerful way of denunciation and making visible various problems, including social ones. This project compiles research on several historical facts that settled the beginning of the fight for women's rights and non- violence against them. In addition, the relation between the first approach of women into the art field and the early accusations of violence against women in visual arts are pointed out. This matter encourages us to learn a little more about art, history, regulations, decrees and laws that have been established to eradicate violence against women and invites us to meditate about the reality that women face daily
