Item Factores de riesgo asociados a embarazos en adolescentes que acuden al Centro de Salud de Pumapungo de la provincia del Azuay, 2012(2012) Cazho Yupa, María Eva; Gaona Castillo, Jenny Abigail; Padilla Romero, Lorena Elizabeth; Montaño Peralta, Bertha Soraya; Verdugo Sánchez, Adriana ElizabethObjectives: the present investigation claim to determine the factors of risk associated to pregnancies in adolescents that go to the Center of Health of Pumapungo. Methods and materials: it is a descriptive study, of traverse court that will determine the number and pregnant women's percentage. The sample will be constituted by pregnant adolescents from 10 to 19 years of age to who you/they will be applied a structured survey that it will pick up information it has more than enough age, civil state, instruction, occupation, origin, residence, knowledge have more than enough sexual education, menarquia, first sexual relationship, I use of contraceptives, planning of the pregnancy, obstetric antecedents (you gestate, childbirths, you would cease, each person's aborts) previous consent. Results: The research allowed us to identify pregnant adolescents, because they are a high risk group, both psychological and social consequences. The cause of frequent pregnancies among adolescents shows a direct relationship between the frequency of dysfunctional families, including migration, poor family relationships, menarche of girls going on a par with the first sexual intercourse while menstruating earlier start just become sexually active. Conclusions: The teen pregnancy should be considered high risk, because the frequency of risk factors is high and determines much higher percentage of complications during pregnancy, childbirth and the newborn.
