    Perfil socioeconómico y calidad de vida de las personas adultas mayores que forman parte de los proyectos sociales del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Parroquial Rural de Nulti, 2022

    Knowing the conditions and quality of life of senior adults in rural areas, represents an important factor to intervene either in the prevention or eradication of problems that affect this population; For this reason, the present investigation has the purpose of determine the socioeconomic profile and the quality of life of senior adult population that is part of the social projects of the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Rural Parish of Nulti (GADP of Nulti), through the results can fortify the intervention processes. The deductive method was applied, based on a census or universal registry of senior population that are part of the social projects in the rural parish of Nulti, in the Cuenca canton, of the Ecuador. The type of study is descriptive, crosssectional and non-experimental, and includes a human rights approach. The research was carried out with a population of 121 senior adults, using an instrument adapted to the context. This instrument presents a first part focused on determining the socioeconomic profile and a second part, consisting of the Fumat scale questionnaire, which it, will serve to measure the insight of quality of life; In addition, the information processing and creation of the baseline of the study population is carried out in programs such as Excel and SPSS. Among the most relevant results obtained, it was possible to identify that the diseases present in the study population are a limiting factor in other areas of their lives, like their autonomy or even their way of relating with their peers or with the community; In addition, a large part of the population lacks acceptable housing and access to basic services, like sewerage service.
