    Análisis de la aplicación de los principios universales del cooperativismo en las Cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito del segmento 1, Cuenca.

    This paper exposes the historical development of the universal principles of cooperativism and its legal evolution within the Ecuadorian legal system, since the First Law of Cooperatives. It also determines the current scope of the cooperative principles in the Ecuadorian savings and credit cooperatives, which was constructed through the analysis of relevant doctrine and applicable legal norms. Finally, the paper presents the level of compliance with the principles of cooperativism in the Savings and Credit Cooperatives of Segment 1 of Cuenca, which was obtained through the application of surveys, structured by parameters that were elaborated based on the analysis of the scope of these principles.
