Thus, this musical creation project has been developed with the name of Cronología. This work is a concert suite, which interprets the historical events of our country along its different periods, starting from the Indian Era (Reino de Quito) to the Republican Era. Recreating these eras musically based on ancient Ecuadorian rhythms. Included in the structure of this music, are the folkloric musical instruments fused with typical symphonic instruments in an attempt to create a fusion of timbre in both color and texture. The first chapter includes features of the indigenous history and their place of origin, their musical instruments, their first forms and musical manifestations. The second chapter includes features of the history from the arrival of the Spaniards in the conquest to the formation of the new republic. Selección, estudio y ejecución de obras de guitarra sola para la interpretación del concierto de graduación en la especialidad de instrucción musical
(2019) Romero Duran, Nelson Enrique; Pacheco Barrera, Diego Patricio
In the execution of the classical guitar there is a myriad of possibilities for the conformation of repertoires according to the needs of each performer, however, in this work we face the need to create a repertoire that allows the performer to work and carry out the execution of several instrumental techniques necessary for the training of any guitarist. The present study is based fundamentally on the musical analysis and execution of five works that make up the repertoire of the graduation concert in the career of Musical Instruction, these works are selected with the purpose of showing the birth of the modern classical guitar and its diffusion by Latin America. At the same time the repertoire is applied to technical development, which focuses on the analysis of the execution techniques used in each of the works, in order to understand the mechanics necessary for its interpretation. Due to this, this work seeks to satisfy the need for the conformation of a solid repertoire, which allows the performer to demonstrate their abilities with the guitar. The repertoire is made up of the following works:  La catedral – Agustín Barrios Mangoré  Recuerdos de la alhambra – Francisco Tárrega  Preludio criollo – Rodrigo Riera  Canta cuando me ausente – Marco T. Hidrobo  La bicicleta – Vicente E. Sojo

Transcripción de piano a guitarra y ejecución de seis obras representativas del pasillo ecuatoriano
(2017) Morocho Vallejo, Cristhian Xavier; Pacheco Barrera, Diego Patricio
The present work is focused on the process of transcribing six guitar pieces of our Musical genres, Ecuadorian Pasillo, which constitutes the best referent of the music in our country; performing a harmonic, melodic and structural analysis. This technical work respects the structure, harmony, rhythm, contrapuntal movements, nuances and forms of execution typical of each original musical piece. In addition, it is intended that the technique used in the guitar to be visualized and that the result of this transcription can be used as study material for students of intermediate level. On the other hand, it is necessary to know the history of the Ecuadorian Pasillo, especially the most important aspects such as, where the genre came from, its arrival in Ecuador and how it was established and achieved to become a musical symbol characteristic of our country. It is necessary to emphasize that the creation of the Conservatory of Music in Quito has formed over the years great authors, composers and interpreters dedicated to the study and diffusion of the Ecuadorian Pasillo. The evolution of the guitar is marked over time by many similar instruments, such as the zither, the lute, the mandolin, vihuela, etc. Finally, in the year 1760, Fray Miguel Garcia known as “Padre Basilio” presented for first time a six-string guitar. Since then, this instrument has been well received in many countries around the world like Ecuador.
