Item Elaboración de una guía y material didáctico de la circunferencia y parábola para el laboratorio de matemáticas y física de la Universidad de Cuenca(2016) Ortiz Camas, Galo Israel; Pastuizaca Guamán, Nelson Romeo; Lliguaipuma Aguirre, Mónica del CarmenThis research is defined by the need of using didactical techniques to facilitate the understanding of Analytical Geometry subject. It is mainly directed to the Circumference and Parabola issues as a mean to link the theory and the practice of this subject. It is directed to the first semester students of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Cuenca. On the First Chapter, different issues concerning general aspects in education are analyzed. In it we discuss various aspects of education, pedagogical techniques and general didactical methods including didactical approaches of teaching Math. Additionally the importance of implementing a didactical techniques guide with the specific material to work different contents of the subject is considered. On the Second Chapter diagnostic evaluation is described. Through the analysis of an applied survey, it is demonstrated that there are difficulties in understanding the contents of Analytical Geometry specifically in Circumference and Parabola problems. The development of a guide with specific useful material is an alternative to facilitate the teaching process. Finally on the Last Chapter the proposal is exposed. It has two main parts: the guidebook and the didactical material that have been created for the Circumference and Parabola problems as auxiliary resources. The didactical tutorial consists of ten practices that have the laboratory profile presented in a sequential manner to indicate the correct use of the materials in each of the proposed topics.Item Revisión sistematizada de las estrategias metodológicas para la enseñanza de matemáticas a nivel de Bachillerato(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-08-28) Ortiz Camas, Galo Israel; Illescas Peña, Lourdes EugeniaIn this document, the issue of inadequate or improvised application of teaching strategies in mathematics education is addressed, which is crucial due to the rapid evolution of teaching methodologies and the demands of contemporary educational society. This work was developed through a systematic review of articles and indexed journals from the last five years, focusing on methodological strategies for teaching mathematics in secondary education, mainly in Latin America. The resources used included access to academic databases and institutional archives to obtain relevant articles discussing different methodological strategies. This implies establishing strict search and selection criteria to ensure the relevance and quality of the sources examined. The use of games-based, project-based learning, gamification an cooperative learning significantly improves the motivation and academic performance of high school students in mathematics. Furthermore, the importance of proper training for teachers and the coherent integration of these strategies within the curriculum was highlighted, which is essential for their long-term effectiveness.
