Item Plan de intervención para prevenir y disminuir el consumo de alcohol en los estudiantes de bachillerato del Colegio Camilo Gallegos Toledo del Cantón Gualaquiza. Methodology: A quasi-experimental study was carried out on 312 high school students from College Camilo Gallegos Toledo Gualaquiza Canton, same as the AUDIT test was used to make an initial diagnosis which measures the risk of dependence on alcohol consumption, using a plan intervention consisting of video forum, educational lectures, personal histories and socio-dramas. Later he turned to value after intervention by applying the test with a descriptive exploratory analysis and then a comparison is performed to verify the effectiveness of the educational plan again. Results: The most frequent age group was 16 to 17 with 50.3% and 53.8% of cases, students were male; after assessing the AUDIT questionnaire initially a frequency of 15.1% (average 3.54 points) risk consumption of alcohol (8 points or more) was detected; after the intervention carried out the frequency of consumption of risk fell to 6.4% (average 1.76 points); comparing these results was evident that were statistically significant (p <0.05) for what appears to be due to the intervention carried out.
