Item Análisis teórico - conceptual y propositivo sobre las sociedades cooperativistas en el marco de la cohesión territorial para el desarrollo rural. Caso de la parroquia Salinas de Tomabela en Ecuador(2018-10-31) Ortega Astudillo, Rosa Leticia; Mendieta Orellana, Mónica ElisabethThe processes of globalization bring new demands from international markets, the redefinition of the role of the State and sharpening of socioeconomic imbalances between regions and impose on the territories the challenge of defining and managing their own path for integral and inclusive development. The cooperative solidarity, community and participatory, is shown as an economic model in which their processes occur endogenously and those who inhabit are the key players, making use of what is available in the territory and with a common goal: to cover unmet basic needs, which allows reducing the gap between rich and poor. In this research with a qualitative, analytical and interpretative approach, and using the Case Study method, a theoretical - conceptual and proactive analysis is carried out on cooperative societies within the framework of territorial cohesion for rural development. Case of the parish Salinas de Tomabela in Ecuador. It is concluded from the theoretical - conceptual model of this cooperative society, that the factors that favor the management and cohesion of the rural territories, conformation and / or consolidation of cooperative societies, are the property of the land, the forms of production linked to a social and solidary economy, self-managed, organized, that integrates its inhabitants in their processes according to their potential and takes advantage of the natural resources of the environment, achieving social and territorial cohesion and at the same time financial, environmental and organizational sustainability, all for the sole purpose: sustainable rural development.
