    Cibermedios: un análisis comparativo en los diarios El Mercurio y El Tiempo de la ciudad de Cuenca

    The present research, "Cybermedia: a comparative analysis in the newspapers of El Mercurio and El Tiempo of the city of Cuenca" aims to analyze the use and functionalities of each website and its derivatives as social networks, thus providing a balance of compliance with the digitization needs within each one. Of the media. In chapter 1, research approaches are detailed, with problematization, justification and research objectives. Chapter 2 deals with everything related to the media of El Mercurio and El Tiempo with: history, sections, editorial line; Also the digitalization and main Ecuadorian media immersed in the web as: El Comercio, El Universo and El Telégrafo. Chapter 3 emphasizes certain concepts about cybermedia, predominant characteristics of digital media and applications, tools used by web journalists. In Chapter 4, a process is given to field work, investigating in each medium its content and its digital functioning, both on the website and in the derived platforms, to make the corresponding comparison. And finally, chapter 5 that after all the research, conclusions and recommendations are made; Also adding the part of annexes and bibliography of all the research work.
