    Propuesta y diseño de cubiertas para cerrar espacios públicos deportivos en el cantón Paute - Ecuador

    The main objective of this degree work is the proposal and design of metal roofs for public sports spaces in the Paute. Urban development and population growth have generated the need for adequate infrastructure for sports and various outdoor activities.The study begins with an exhaustive analysis of the climatic and geographical characteristics of the Paute area, considering factors such as sunlight, topography, and prevailing winds. These data are essential to determine the resistance and durability requirements that metal roofs must meet. Subsequently, an an analysis is carried out on the existing public sports spaces in Paute, identifying the specific needs of each one in terms of dimensions, distribution and type of activities that take place in them. This makes it possible to establish the design parameters for metal roofs, taking into account aesthetics, functionality and user safety. Then, we proceed to the structural, electrical and plumbing design of the metal roofs, considering different systems and materials available in the market. Likewise, the normative and regulatory aspects in force in the country related to the construction of structures in public spaces are taken into account. Finally, the conclusions of the study are presented, highlighting the importance of metal roofs in public sports spaces in Paute. Likewise, recommendations are offered for future research and improvements in the field of metal roofs in public sports spaces.
