    The Bassoon in Ecuador, is an instrument little known and appreciated, however, its importance in the Symphony Orchestra is fundamental. To make it known, in this thesis a brief history and analysis of the art, and the construction and evolution through history, also application techniques of building systems was performed. Were chosen musical that place the bassoon in a leading role to be played in a recital, which includes authentic witness the different styles throughout the history of music, and the importance of the bassoon since its conception in the historical argument.
