    Apego y su relación con la satisfacción sexual en el personal de salud del “Hospital Homero Castanier Crespo” Azogues 2022

    Background: How people experience attachment in romantic relationships has been linked to sexual satisfaction, and it is critical to long-term relationship success. To date, however, studies have focused on college-aged individuals or heterosexual couples. As a result, there is a need to expand research to other populations with a variety of genders, ages, and occupations. As a result, our attention is drawn directly to a specific group, such as medical personnel. Objective: to determine the relationship between attachment and sexual satisfaction in the health personnel of the Homero Castanier Hospital in Azogues, Ecuador Methodological design: The study is quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional in nature. There were 236 health professionals in the sample. Results: When analyzing the data, it was found that: 78.3% of people with secure attachment had poor sexual satisfaction, 40% with a fearful, hostile and worried style showed good sexual satisfaction, 42.5% with distant attachment showed poor sexual satisfaction. Regarding the dimensions of attachment, it was determined that 44.9% of people had a type of distant attachment, 15.7% fearful-hostile; the worried style in 14% and the insurance in 25.4%, determining the degree of sexual satisfaction in the health personnel, it was found that 49.6% considered their sexual satisfaction as bad; and when performing the analysis by profession, no significant differences were found between them. Conclusions: Finally, it was discovered that the most common attachment style in health personnel was distant, with low sexual satisfaction, and that there was a significant relationship between these two variables.

    Aplicación del AIEPI en niños de 2 meses a 4 años 11 meses 29 días con ira, C.S. Nicanor Merchán. Cuenca. 2015

    Objective: to determine the implementation of AIEPI in the care of children from 2 months to 4 years 11 months 29 days in the Health Center for Nicanor Merchán 2015 Methodology: a quantitative study, descriptive, with the implementation of a survey with the nature and objectives of the study, the universe consisted of 19 people was held. The tabulation was performed using Excel and SPSS 15.0 software, the results were processed in graphs and tables. Results: among the most relevant results are: management of forms IMCI 100% only 20.9% always handle forms and 79% handled when warranted Training in AIEPI 100% of health professionals only 5.26% are trained. With regard to the experience in AIEPI, the 73.68% of health professionals have of 0-5 years of experience; and 15.78% belongs to the range of 6-15 years. Knowledge and skills of health professions in the AIEPI strategy, 85.26% have scientific training but only 43.15% integrates its knowledge into practice when handling a case of IRA. Conclusions: one of the most important challenges in the health team is not properly implemented the AIEPI when child care training is also zero in this health center for r what needs to be in constant training and review of guidelines so that gain more experience in the AIEPI strategy and to apply that knowledge correctly in practice

    Records: the ulcers for pressure are lesions located in the skin it has more than enough bony prominences caused by pressure and/or shear. At the present time, they are considered a problem of Public Health of serious connotation where Infirmary has a great responsibility inside its autonomous list. General objective: to evidence the application of the protocol of prevention of ulcers for pressure for the infirmary personnel in “Vicente Corral Moscoso” hospital, surgery area and clinic. Cuenca 2019 Methodology: descriptive and quantitative study carried out in the hospital “Vicente Corral Moscoso” in the surgery areas and clinic, with a finite universe constituted by the infirmary personnel. A structured survey was applied, based on the protocol of prevention of ulcers by pressure and a comparison list to verify the application of this. The analysis of the data was carried out by means of the program SPSS version 22, presenting the results by means of charts of frequencies and percentages. Results: population with half age of 33.45; 34.4% corresponds to graduates in infirmary, 42.7 % nursing staff and 22.9% to internals of infirmary. In connection with the knowledge 93.8% possesses them; 97.9% completes the established protocol; as well as, 70.8% declared to have been qualified in this topic in some occasion. Conclusion: the personnel of infirmary of the “Vicente Corral Moscoso” hospital applies in an excellent way the protocol of prevention of you ulcerate them for pressure.

    Calidad de vida durante el climaterio en la población del Centro de Salud No1, Azogues 2020

    Background: climate or menopause is the lifespan of a woman in which she experiences certain alterations arising from the decrease in estrogen and progesterone, causing important physical, psychological and social changes that affect her quality of life. Objective: determine the quality of life during the climate in the population of the No. 1 health centre in the city of Azogues during the period from january - july 2020. Method and Materials: descriptive cross-sectional study with quality of life analysis of women who attended the Health Center No.1. The universe consisted of 2658 women aged 45 to 55; the sample was calculated according to the formula for finite population., with a sample of 369 participants selected for convenience. The specific QUALITY of Life questionnaire in menopause MENQOL, and validated MRS (1) was applied. The data was entered into the SPSS 24 program and presented through simple tables and bar charts, with frequency and percentage analysis.. Results: 64.8% correspond to the age group of women between 45 and 49 years of age, with an incomplete secondary education level (26.3%), 39.3% had a diagnosis of perimenopause, 37.7% in postmenopause and 23% were in premenopause. The studied population presented greater loss of quality of life when the deterioration increased in the psychosocial (4 ± 1.52) and physical (4.14 ± 1.46) areas. Conclusion: Characterizing the climacteric symptoms and their behavior throughout the menopausal states allows establishing prevention and intervention measures that improve the quality of life of women at this stage.     Calidad de vida en mujeres mayores de 60 años, Centro de Salud N1, Azogues 2018

    Background: in Ecuador, the older adult population has become a vulnerable group of significant statistical growth, which is exposed to major health problems that can cause changes in their quality of life, particularly for women. Objective: determine the quality of life in women older than 60 years who attend the N1 health center in the city of Azogues. Method and Materials: descriptive and cross-sectional study with analysis of the Quality of Life of women over 60 years of age. The universe consisted of 2658 women over 60 years old; The sample calculated in Epi Info 3.5., was 180 participants selected by simple sample for convenience. The FUMAT scale was applied. For the presentation and analysis of data the SPSS 24 program was used. In the presentation of the results, tables and graphs were used, with analysis of frequencies and percentages. Results: 64.4% correspond to the age group 60 to 69 years, with a predominance of married civil status 53.9%, from the province of Cañar (47.8%), resident in the urban area (69.4%); ethnic group (53.3%); in addition, they present an index of 98 with a 46th percentile, being in a low average level of quality of life. Conclusion: the quality of life of women older than 60 years of health center No 1 according to the FUMAT scale is at a low average level

    Caracterización sociodemográfica relacionadas con la salud de las tejedoras de paja toquilla, Sigsig 2018

    Background: the Association of Toquilleras María Auxiliadora of the canton Sígsig, is constituted by a group of women dedicated neatly to the fabric of handicrafts with the use of straw toquilla as a work activity; this occupation generates health situations that sociodemographically condition this population. Objective: to analyze the sociodemographic characteristics related to the health of the toquilla straw weavers, Sígsig 2018. Methodological design: descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out; by a population formed by the weavers of the Association of Toquilleras María Auxiliadora of the canton Sígsig, province of Azuay; the sample consisted of 116 weavers who met the selection criteria and signed the informed consent. A structured survey was applied, validated by pilot test. The data obtained were recorded in the database and analyzed through the SPSS version 15 program and presented in tables and graphs for analysis and discussion. Results: the age group prevalent in this study was between 40 - 64 years of age (37%), the majority comes from the rural area (88.8%), of these more than half are married (54.3%). Regarding the level of education, those who have primary (75.9%) are the ones who predominate this study and most work 8 hours or less (76.7%). 75% have an income of less than 100 dollars per month, in addition 25% of the participants present cervicalgias as one of the main diseases produced by their work.     Causas y consecuencias de la violencia intrafamiliar en niños de segundo a séptimo año de básica, Unidad Educativa Comunitaria Rumiñahui. Quilloac 2014

    Researches reveal several stories of abuse committed with children, since ancient times. In Latin America and the Caribbean, at least 6 million of girls and adolescents are under aggretiones, and 80,000 die annually from the violence within the family. The objective set was: to determine the causes and consequences of domestic violence on children from second to seventh year of Rumiñahui Community Education Unit. The research was quantitative and descriptive: the sample were 92 children. A family fest was applied created by bachellor . Lois Corman, an instrument that allowed us to determine the presence or absence of domestic violence; and the form was validated validated by the National Institute for Women in Mexico 2006, to identify causes and consequences of abuse. The collection of data was done in May and June 2014 and tabulation was conducted in Excel - SPSS 15.0. The results indicate: the 100% of the study population suffer some form of abuse; the most common forms are: caretakers who stop talking for several hours, 27%; of caregivers; strong pull hair: 24%, neglect of personal hygiene of children, 18.5% and 6.5% children are handled, touched or fondled their private parts without permission, abuse is directly linked to a numerous members of family.

    Condición motriz en relación con las actividades de la vida diaria en adultos mayores institucionalizados en el Hogar Miguel León. Cuenca 2016

    Background: Since years ago has been found in gradually aging population worldwide is accompanied by a series of morphological, physiological and psychological changes that occur as a result of the action of time. Objective: To describe the driving condition in relation to the activities of daily life in institutionalized elderly at Home Miguel Leon, Cuenca, 2016. Methodology: A quantitative study was conducted descriptive to a sample of 61 seniors, while a survey, the test of Tinetti and Barthel scale was applied. Results: 69% of seniors are women, widows (39.3%) and single (29.5%), the 47.50% takes between one and three years living in it. 82% believe that their activities are good for your health; and 39.3% it does is walk. 41% are hypertensive and 24.59% diabetics who also suffer from osteoporosis, which is closely related to the 60.65% have severe risk of falls by difficulties in balance and gait. Conclusions: Tinetti scale and Barthel test applied in 61 institutionalized elderly at home Miguel León city of Cuenca, contributed to discover the level of reduction of motor capacity in activities of daily living

    Conocimientos que poseen las madres sobre las reacciones adversas post-inmunización y cuidados que brindan a sus hijos/as menores de dos años, centro de Salud el Tambo, Cañar 2015

    Objective: This research had as general objective; Identify the knowledge they possess mothers about adverse reactions post - immunization and care afforded to children under two years of age, El Tambo Health Center. Cañar 2015. Methodology: To perform this study, we use quantitative, descriptive research. We worked with a universe of 90, which came to immunize their children and mothers who agreed to participate in research by signing the informed consent, research was conducted during the months of September to November of the 2015. The instrument applied was the survey, a form with 14 items of questions that applied to the mothers of the children. After the application of the interview form was to the tabulation of the data using the programs Microsoft Excel, SPSS, where percentage frequency tables were developed. Use of results: The results of this study were used to raise awareness of the personnel that work in the area of immunization, to provide adequate and timely information to mothers who come to immunize their children. Conclusions: 88.9% of mothers known reactions that produce the vaccines while than the 11.1% don't know, corresponds more to new mothers between ages of 15 to 20 years; the care that mothers provide are based on home care in a 56.7% and pharmacological in a 43.3%.

    Conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas de las madres de niños menores de cinco años que acuden al Subcentro de Salud Barrial Blanco sobre la enfermedad diarreica aguda según la estrategia AIEPI, cuenca 2016

    Background: acute diarrheal disease is responsible for about 3 million deaths worldwide, which is why for decades have been implemented health care systems to help reduce this number, the AIEPI strategy is the most instrument tool. Objective: To determine the knowledge, attitudes and practices of mothers of children under 5 years attending health sub-center Barrial Blanco on acute diarrheal disease according to the AIEPI strategy in January - Jun 2016. Methodology: A-quantitative descriptive study with a sample of 114 mothers was performed. The information was collected with the use of a survey caring ethical aspects. The tabulation was performed using SPSS 19 and Excel 2013, the results are presented in tables, graphs and histograms of frequency and percentage. Results: In the present study found that mothers were between 13 and 43 years with a mean age of 26.4 years (SD ± 6,257), 52.63% had secondary education. 38.6% were housewives, 18.42% were professionals. Knowledge of group fluctuated 61.4% 38.6% good to very good. The 76.32% reported very good attitudes; 21.93% 1.75% good and bad. 69.3% had very good practices; 28.95% 1.75% good and bad. Good knowledge were: 79.82% continue breastfeeding, oral rehydration salts to 95%, recognize signs of dehydration 73.68% and 69.3% adequate food. Appropriate attitudes were given oral rehydration salts, lead the doctor and meet the medical indications. In practical 9 out of 10 mothers brought their children to the health center, give oral serum 96% and bland food in an 86.84%.

    Creencias respecto al examen dígito rectal como método diagnóstico predictivo del cáncer de próstata. Azogues, 2020.

    Background: The digital rectal exam is one of the methods of diagnosing prostate cancer. This procedure is usually performed on men over 40 years old. The application of the DRE has been affected by personal and sociocultural beliefs. Objective: To determine the beliefs regarding digital rectal examamination as a predictive diagnostic method for prostate cancer. Methodology: A study was carried out with a qualitative approach based on grounded theory on a sample of 10 men over 30 years of age who attended a medical consultation at the Luis Cordero Health Center. The interviews sought the principle of information saturation. The data with their respective codification were transcribed and entered into the Atlas.ti and Microsoft Word programs forsubsequent analysis. Results: The theory was built: the interrelation of knowledge, personal beliefs and the cultural context influence the performance of the rectal digit examination as a predictive method of prostate cancer; following the analysis of the categories of knowledge about prostate cancer and rectal digit examination, psycho-cultural beliefs and beliefs related to health and sexuality. Conclusion: Personal beliefs, cultural context and low knowledge have created barriers that affect the performance of digital rectal examination as a preventive method for prostate cancerKeywords: Digital rectal exam.     Cumplimiento de las normas y protocolos del Ministerio de Salud Pública, por parte del personal de enfermería, en la atención del recién nacido, del departamento de gíneco-obstetricia, del Hospital Homero Castanier Crespo Azogues, 2014

    This research sought to identify the Observance of Standards and protocols of the Ministry of Public Health for Nurses Part in Newborn Care, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the "Homero Castanier Crespo" Hospital. The study employed was descriptive. The universe included 16 domestic and 8 licensed nurse who worked in the department of gynecology and obstetrics. The survey and the direct and indirect observation technique used; form as an instrument previously developed and validated by the authors; for analysis and presentation of results was managed programs: SPSS version 18.0 and Microsoft Office Excel 2007, the results are presented in tables which includes descriptive analysis. Existen16 licensed nursing: 11 have tertiary preparation and 5 fourth level, 58.3% of professionals have an age between 24-34 years; 16.6% have less than 24 years of age corresponding to the internal nursing; 33.3% of graduates having 1-5 years of service, 16.6% are professionals with 5-10 years of service, 100% of nurse practitioners and 62.5% of internal know and apply the rules, procedures and protocols in newborn care; 93.7% of graduates and 75% of the internal coordinates time performing care activities. Conclusion: The professional nursing and domestic staff are knowledgeable about the rules and protocols in the care of child, however some are not executed.     Determinantes sociales de la salud en los estudiantes que viven en migración parental, Unidad Educativa Guapán 2016

    Background: The phenomenon of migration has become a social problem, causing a different nuclear family organization. In the parish there Guapán high migration rates, the reasons are mainly economic, seeking to improve their quality of life, the children being left in the country the first to experience changes in their social and academic development. General objective: Identify the social determinants of the health of students living in parental migration, Educational Unit "Guapán" 2016. Methodology: A study was conducted type descriptive of cross section. The study took into account 80 students living in parental migration. To obtain the needed information an in depth questioner was implemented. The tabulation was done in SPSS 22 y Microsoft Office Excel 2014, the results are presented in graphs, frequency tables and percentages. Results: 60% were adolescents, 92.5% live in households, 81.25% are owned and have 100% access to basic services, 55% is the father who migrates, 51.2% are under the care of the mother, 82.5% receive support from family, 42.5% sleep 8 hours a day, 70% play sports and eat 3 meals a day, in terms of school performance to 33.8% do well always, 50% became ill during the last two months and 47.5% communicate daily with their parents

    Evaluación geriátrica integral del adulto mayor institucionalizado en la Casa Hogar Rosa Elvira de León, Azogues 2021

    Background: Comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGE) is defined as a biopsychosocial assessment tool, which allows of identifying the multidimensional care needs of institutionalized older adults. Objective: To determine the health status of the institutionalized elderly population in the “Casa Hogar Rosa Elvira de León” in Azogues city through comprehensive geriatric evaluation. Method and Materials: Quantitative, cross-sectional investigation was carry out; applied to 50 older adults from the “Casa Hogar Rosa Elvira de León”. The instruments used were: Gijón Social Assessment Scale, Barthel Index, Nutritional Assessment Scale, Modified Tinetti Scale, Modified Cognitive Assessment. The tabulation and determination of the results was carry out with the SPSS 24 program, and these are presented in simple tables, with frequencies and percentages. Results: Older adults from the “Casa Hogar Rosa Elvira de León” with an average age of 79.43 years, minimum age of 60 years, maximum age of 98 years, mode of 74 years, (SD of 10,573); a proportion of 3 women for every man, according to the EGI present a high risk of falls, some level of deterioration of cognitive status, risk of malnutrition and poor nutritional status. Conclusion: The state of health in the older adult institutionalized in the “Casa Hogar Rosa Elvira de León” is characterized by alterations in gait and balance, with different degrees of mental alterations, risk of malnutrition and poor nutritional status, which manifests a deterioration in the quality of life of this population.

    Factores externos e internos que influyen en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del Ciclo Básico de la Unidad Educativa Guapan – Azogues, 2014

    Background: Education is the basis for social transformation, to carry out a dream, a goal of every human being, depending on the emphasis and their life plans have drawn for their future. Objective We sought to determine what external and internal factors that influence academic performance of students of the basic cycle of "EDUCATION UNIT Guapán 'are. Methods: A descriptive study, which found and identified external and internal demographic factors influence the performance of students, worked with 148 students corresponding eighth, ninth and tenth basic education was conducted. The art of observation and interview aimed at students and as a semi-structured survey instrument developed by the authors and consisting of 22 questions in which external and internal factors affecting valued was used to collect information on academic performance. The data were processed using the SPSS, Microsoft office Word and Excel descriptive statistics was used and presented in tables. Results: Not all external and internal studied factors affecting the academic performance of students in general none of the respondents exceeds that required learning dominate 10.14% of the required learning, reaching 79.73 % learning, 8.78 % are close to achieving and 1.35 % of the students have not yet reached the required learning

    Hábitos alimenticios y estado nutricional de las mujeres embarazadas del Centro de Salud de Biblian Tipo B. 2019

    Background: the importance of knowing the quantity and quality of food to be eaten in the gestational period lies in providing better health to both the fetus and the mother, coordinating the knowledge that the mother possesses with her attitudes and practices of her eating habits and nutritional status. Objective: identify theeating habits and nutritional status of pregnant women at the Biblián type B 2019 health centre. Method and Materials: descriptive cross-sectional study, conducted at the health centre of "Biblián", with 87 pregnant women between the end of the first quarter and the second quarter who attended obstetric checks, who were applied after signature of informed consent a structured and validated questionnaire with pilot. The data was entered into the SPSS 24 program and presented through simple tables, with frequencies and percentages.. Results: 64% are in the age group of women between the ages of 20-39, with full primary education level (48%), mostly from the rural sector by 80%, with 46% of pregnant women in free union and 51% in their second gestating. In relation to eating habits, pregnant women have adequate habits as well as a normal nutritional status Conclusion: the proper nutritional habits of pregnant women have a direct impact on their nutritional status.

    Manejo de los desechos hospitalarios por el personal de salud, Hospital Dermatológico Mariano Estrella, Cuenca, 2015

    Background: This study on hospital waste management of health personnel working in the Dermatological Hospital Mariano Estrella, 2015 period; which aim to prevent and minimize accidents. Objective: Identify the Hospital Waste Management for health personnel in the Dermatological Hospital Mariano Cuenca Estrella 2015. Methods: The study was analytical and informative. The universe was composed of 56 health workers. To collect the information management protocols validated by the Hospital Waste (MSP) were used. Direct observation, surveys and interviews were conducted. The tabulation WORD, EXCEL and SPSS was used. Results: The application of the protocol on medical waste management is insufficient staff under investigation. 53% say that the containers are not covered, 55.4%; Deposits for common wastes used for other types of waste. 53.6% filled with sharps waste containers. 62.5% do not disinfect the containers, 58.9% do not disinfect sharps, 42.9% stated that the waste is stored for weeks, 67.9% the existing committee does not fulfill its functions and supplier management. High error rates are observed, so a training proposal arises; to be applied according to criteria of the Committee. Conclusions: The disposal of hazardous waste in this study population does not meet the legal requirements as indicated by the universal protocols

    Nivel de conocimientos y prácticas sobre lactancia materna y destete que tienen las madres de la comunidad de Turi, Cuenca, 2021

    Background: at the global level, exclusive breastfeeding reaches rates of less than 50% registered in children under 6 months, in Latin America it registers a proportion of 80% compared to other continents in which it ranges around 20 to 30%. In Ecuador, children fed by exclusive breastfeeding during the first month of life registered 52.4%, a figure that decreased considerably to reach 28.2% at 6 months. Objective: Identify the level of knowledge and practices on breastfeeding and weaning that mothers in the community of Turi have, Cuenca, 2021. Method and Materials: quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study with a sample of 138 mothers. Data were collected through surveys, then tabulated and analyzed, with results presented using percentages and frequencies, in simple bar tables and graphs. Results: Young adult mothers with an average of 29.82, married marital status 37%, QQDD occupation 34.1%, secondary education level 50%. Regular breastfeeding knowledge (79.7%) and poor weeding knowledge (48.6%). Inadequate breastfeeding practices (45.7%) and proper weeding practices (36.2%). Conclusion: mothers with higher education have greater knowledge in both breastfeeding and weeding. Regular breastfeeding knowledge is accompanied by inadequate practices.
