    Validación computacional de un método analítico para el diseño de vigas de sección no rectangular sometidas a flexión biaxial

    The bibliography that dealing with the reinforced concrete structural design beams focuses mainly on the analysis of simple bending in elements that have a symmetrical cross section. This article presents an analytical methodology validation for the particular asymmetric beams subjected to biaxial flexion, using a numerical model design. The analytical methodology development considers that the biaxial flexion problem can be solved through a simple flexion analysis along the two main axes respectively, determining the nominal stresses. On the other hand, the numerical modeling was developed in the ANSYS Workbench software, taking into account the element real conditions and using finite elements to determine the nominal stresses with the purpose to validate it
