Concepto Tiny House como refugio polifuncional para el páramo andino del Ecuador
(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-02-19) Moscoso Calle, Juan Fernando; Zalamea León, Esteban Felipe
In the protected areas, the number of establishments and facilities is scarce. These areas, due to their biodiversity, moorlands, lagoons and wetlands, are considered to be the main areas of interest for tourism, research, control and management. The objective of this research is to promote sustainable practices in important natural environments through the design of infrastructure intended to generate a minimum environmental impact. This proposal can serve as a prototype applicable to other areas with similar Andean climate characteristics. The preliminary project will be conceived based on the analysis of these zones, in addition to the verification of specific regulations and design guidelines for these areas. An analysis of references will be carried out to obtain strategies and criteria for the design. The result is a polyfunctional architectural project with criteria of low environmental impact, flexibility and comfort that fulfills the function of a shelter for protected areas of the Andean Paramo.
