Item Plan de desarrollo turístico para la parroquia Ricaurte del cantón Cuenca, provincia del Azuay 2019-2023(2019-08-06) Morocho Solano, Erika Marisol; Zuñiga Tenesaca, Cristina Soledad; Farfán Pacheco, Lourdes KarinaThe parish of Ricaurte is located in canton Cuenca, it has several cultural and natural tourist attractions that can be better exploited, although it is evident that tourism in this territory has occurred in a limited and spontaneous way perceiving a greater influx of tourists during its festivities, it is necessary to carry out this Tourism Development Plan as a tourism planning tool that could be implemented, in the future, as to improve tourism management in the area, and to turn this parish into a touristically orderly place. For the execution of this project, a situational diagnosis of the parish was carried out, which was developed through field observation of the different tourist attractions of the place, analysis of primary and secondary sources in order to know its territorial environment. On the other hand, in order to characterize the supply, information was collected, allowing us to have a clear idea about the infrastructure and services that this place currently has, and for the demand, surveys were carried out in order to know the visitor's profile. Dialogues were also held with the competent authorities, professionals immersed in the subject matter and the people who provide tourist services for the implementation of a portfolio of programs, projects in the short, medium and long term with their respective schedules to help boost tourism activity in the parish, based on the analysis of diagnostic matrices SWOT and a problem matrix. Finally, for the fulfillment of the third objective its socialization was carried out with the parish authorities, by means of a joint work with the Autonomous Decentralized Government of the parish that will help to spread its details to the actors immersed in the tourist activity.
