    Factores de riesgo del síndrome cuidador cansado del adulto mayor con enfermedades crónicas del Centro de Salud Virgen del Milagro 2022

    Background. - "Tired caregiver syndrome" is a disease that occurs due to an overload of activities in people who care for a person or animal in a state of risk. This condition manifests itself within the physical and emotional aspect of the subject which can adversely affect their quality of life. Objective. - to identify the syndrome and factors of the tired caregiver of the elderly with chronic diseases of the "Virgen del Milagro" health center 2022. Methodology. - This study has a quantitative approach, statistical descriptive data was used, the results were shown in detail and with a cross section, since the information collected was carried out in a certain period of time. Results. - the Zarit questionnaire was used focused on knowing the overload of caregivers, it was observed that there is an absence of overload in 46% of the participants, while 16% suffer from a slight overload and only 38% have a marked intense overload in a higher percentage in women who provide care between 30 and 50 years of age. Conclusions. - Older users between 81 and 90 years of age need a caregiver due to the physiology of advancing age, and even more so if they have a chronic underlying disease. The study shows that the female sex provides care in a higher percentage than the male sex and it is equal to the overload at home and a user or family member that need a caregiver.
