Item Diagnóstico del sistema de subtransmisión de la Empresa Eléctrica Regional Centro Sur, frente al impacto masivo de las cocinas de inducción(2014) Martínez Rodas, Marlon René; Morocho Ortiz, Carlos Gustavo; Merchán Manzano, Hernando EfraínThe present study has the purpose to analyze of the subtransmission system of Empresa Eléctrica Regional Centro Sur CA, due to the massive increase in the load by the implementation of the use of induction stoves for domestic service, for that reason was necessary to study the infrastructure of the potency electric system that the electric company arranges in order to discuss new alternatives that should be incorporated into the subtransmission. To determine the impact, it starts with a statistical process, in which is based in surveys that we discover the number of users who pretend use the induction stoves, allowing the beginning of this investigation. With the help of these results it projects the increase of the demand either with or without the use of these stoves in different feeding devices and substations of EERCS. The analysis will take effect in the 17 substations of the subtransmission system, for this analysis will be necessary the software DIGSILENT 14.1, which help us to find out the actual and future chargeability in each substation considering the two mentioned cases with and without the use of the induction stoves. Finally, the most critical elements of the substations are chosen, in other words the most overloaded, then it will take effect the reconfiguration of the subtransmission system so that it can support the new loading including the income of induction stoves to the system.Item Planteamiento óptimo de la expansión de los sistemas eléctricos de subtransmisión utilizando el modelo “AC” resuelto mediante algoritmo metaheurístico(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-08-16) Morocho Ortiz, Carlos Gustavo; Torres Contreras, Santiago PatricioThe Transmission Network Expansion Planning (TNEP) seeks the new transmission circuits that must be added to the electric power system (SEP), so that, within a given planning horizon, the EPS can meet the future demand while minimizing investment and operating costs. In this research, the sub-transmission system of Empresa Eléctrica Regional Centro Sur C.A. (EERCS) will be used as a test case; the AC model and an optimization technique metaheuristic will used to provide the new sub-transmission additions in 10-years planning horizon. In order to determine the future demand a statistical process is performed, in which, based on the data provided by EERCS, the increase in demand per year in each substation in the network was determined, thus allowing to build the foundations on which this research has been implemented. For this research work, a metaheuristic method (DE-PBILc) was used to solve the TNEP using the AC model in the MATLAB environment. The necessary data for this study were provided by EERCS, such as: Electrical Energy delivered to the National Interconnected System (SNI), distributed generation, interconnection lines between nodes and substations, the research is conducted for a period of 10 years.
