Estilos de crianza en familias con niños de 4 a 5 años
(2018) Chaca Fajardo, Claudia Fiorela; Morales Lluisupa, Paola Cristina; Pacheco Salazar, María de Lourdes
The objective of this research is to describe the predominant parenting style in the different types of families of children aged between 4 and 5 years of schooling in Initial. The focus of the research is quantitative, because it was processed by representing reality numerically. It is a descriptive research because it will facilitate knowing what parenting styles predominate in children aged between 4 and 5 years of age enrolled in Initial II, Sub-level II. In a probabilistic sample of the population comprised of 211 children, whose parents voluntarily expressed their decision to participate in the study. As an instrument for the collection of information, the Adapted Questionnaire of Susana Torío, (2008) was used to achieve the objectives of the present investigation. The information obtained was processed using the statistical program SPSS 19, which allowed to visualize the results by means of the representation in tables and figures with frequencies and percentages. The results show that the families studied have undefined parenting styles with 53%, following a high rate in the Democratic Style with 47%, which represents a reasoned discipline, assertive communication, affective behavior and concern in the needs of the infant. The predominance of the nuclear family type was determined, consisting of father and mother with 62%, extended family 24%, uniparental family 14%.
