Arreglos para guitarra de tres obras del compositor Carlos Bonilla Chávez
(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-12-01) Morales Jara, Fernando Lenin; Guanchez Blanco, José Gregorio
The musical arrangement is a new creation or version of a work that includes innovative elements that can be modified in the melody, harmony, rhythm, instrumentation, among others, without losing the musical idea of the composer. The object of study of the present investigation is the use of harmonic techniques used by the guitarist Donald Régnier for the fusion with the Ecuadorian Pasillo. The objective is to make arrangements for guitar of three works by composer Carlos Bonilla Chávez; The qualitative research methodology was used, which focuses on the creative development of an applied arrangement for solo guitar. The project is descriptive, to understand the applied arranging technique, which was developed through documentary research. The work presents the theoretical arguments used for the development of musical arrangements and the parameters for the execution of the corridor, in fusion with harmonic techniques of Jazz. Finally, it was possible to corroborate that it is feasible to make arrangements of Ecuadorian corridors for solo guitar for pedagogical purposes, contributing to the Ecuadorian musical heritage with harmonic elements of the Jazz genre.
