    Estrategias metodológicas para contribuir el aprendizaje del álgebra y geometría en el primero de bachillerato del Colegio Nacional Mixto San Joaquín, durante el año lectivo 2012– 2013

    The methodological strategies used in this thesis try to improve the performance and curricular knowledge in Algebra and Geometry in the First High School students of “San Joaquin” High School. The Planned Methodological strategies for Algebra and Geometry curricular block were applied in all; although, there were some inconvenient which they could besolved in the teaching-learning process of block such us the usage of computer lab, different extracurricular activities and institution policies. The developed recreational activities in this curricular block were enjoyed by the students, because they are different from the traditional activities that carried out in Mathematics teaching. Another important activity is the TICs application as using the GeoGebra and Modellus software that allowed to solve exercises and mathematical problems through graphs and animations activities, other didactic teaching tool is the usage of the internet in order to find out and enhance the knowledge. The results of evaluation that was given to the students in the First High School indicate the used of the methodological strategies improved the performance and knowledge in Algebra and Geometry block.
