Item Análisis estructural de la Sonata en Re menor de Mijaíl Glinka y la Pasacaglia de Rebecca Clarke(2016) García Toledo, Luis Carlos; Mora Yanza, Jaime PatricioThis research shows a close and brief study of the history of the viola, evolution, importance, features and genres written for the instrument. This work also aims to make a structural analysis of two works for viola. In the development of this thesis has chosen scores belonging to two periods of the History of Music: The Romantic (Sonata in Dm Mikhail Glinka) and the Twentieth Century and (passacaglia of Rebecca Clarke) since they are of great importance for being considered periods where the violation takes more boom and relevance. In particular, this analysis provides the basis and the technical and theoretical basis for the study and approach to the works mentioned. In addition to achieving a proximity to the demands made by the composer. The synthetic analytic, inductive deductive, logical historical and empirical level: the project for the development of scientific research methods of theoretical and applied. The thesis has an introduction which presents the theoretical design and methodology used is explained; three chapters for the development of research and a complement where a comparison with the statement of Pythagoras, conclusions and recommendations are made.Item Análisis formal y armónico de la obra “Diablo Huma” Opus 22 N. 1 del compositor David Diaz Loyola para el recital de grado violín(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-04-04) Zumbana Quinapanta, Santiago Maximiliano; Mora Yanza, Jaime PatricioThe purpose of the research is to disseminate the compositional work of David Díaz Loyola, and the formal analysis of his work "Diablo Huma", which will serve as a theoretical basis for the interpretative proposal that will be performed in the degree recital. As background information the following works will be presented: his catalog of pieces, with approximately 100 musical works composed up to the date (February 2021), four books published under the name of "Obras Musicales" and an account of several premieres performed in cities of a great cultural movement in Ecuador. Analysis of hue, compass and tempo, in the history of the texts of the works from the contents that reflect, which coincides with the authors taken as reference that the letters were written inspired by the love of the couple, to the cities, to frustration, to everyday life. Presents a study of the characteristics of the securities, as well as an analysis of various corridors. Is an element of contribution in the research presentation of a selection of Pasillo for the concert entitled Gala of the Ecuadorian Pasillo where are arrangements of these works for Chamber Orchestra, solo violin and song format. The study includes analysis of structure, gender, shapes, styles, formats, rhythms and harmonies. For the realization of research applied methods of scientific research of the theoretical level as the analytic - synthetic, inductive - deductive and logical and empirical level analysis of documents with their specific methodology was used. The thesis is structured in introduction where theoretical methodological design and explains the methodology used, two chapters, conclusions and recommendations, containing a set of appendices that provide a practical contribution of the research. Made arrangements of the Pasillo to the format's Chamber Orchestra will be defended by the author at a graduation concert.Item Primer movimiento del cuarteto de cuerdas K.458 “La caza” de W. A. Mozart, clasificación y análisis de los tópicos musicales(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-02-19) Pangol Poveda, Giovanni Alexander; Mora Yanza, Jaime PatricioMusical topics are considered as elements that integrate music into broader contexts. The classification of these in the first movement of the string quartet K. 458 "The Hunt" by W. A. Mozart, were collected through definitions of Agawu, Allanbrook and Ratner. Hunting topics, pastorals, buffos, among others, were found to be defined and focused within the score. Finally, the interpretation was performed based on different recorded versions, from which a guide to the work was obtained following musical parameters such as articulation, dynamics and tempo, relating them to the musical topics.Item Propuesta de fusión de géneros musicales ecuatorianos con lenguaje de jazz, pop y rock(2016-02-29) Vallejo Yépez, Jhonny Patricio; Mora Yanza, Jaime PatricioThis paper presents a proposal of musical arrangements on traditional Ecuadorian songs and some of them of my own creation in several genres such us: Albazo, Aire Típico, Danzante, Yumbo, Fox Incaico, Pasacalle, Pasillo, Bomba and Andarele fused with different musical languages like pop, jazz and rock, and orchestrated for a band formed with drum percussion, guitar, bass and keyboards also combined with acoustic instruments such as saxophone, quena, trump, bone and esmeraldeña marimba, which will be present on a public recital. The paper, is compose of Chapter I, that contain a brief review of selected musical genres for the recital, the origin and constituent elements such as rhythm, tempo, rhythmic patterns, themes and featured composers. Also an approach to the musical genres of jazz, pop and rock, indicating their origin, background, characteristics and outstanding exponents. On Chapter I mentions the Ecuadorian songs selected for this recital and their most important history, authors and composers. Chapter II, remarks the reference of the fusion work performed in the country and specifically in Cuenca.
