    Descriptive clinical study in MoscosoM Hospital Vicente Corral 160 patients who had congenital heart malformations, information was taken from the clinical records. To determine the frequency according to the following variables: age, sex, classification, diagnostic method, associated pathology, complications, treatment and mortality rate in the period 1990-1999. Also known as congenital heart diseases are defined as anatomical lesions of the cardiac chambers, walls, valves, outflow tracts that are present at birth (quote ref.). In total 160 patients studied, noting that the most common heart disease is: 25.00 ventricular septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus 22.5 septal atrial 25.00persistencia ductus arteriosus 22.5comunicación 13.00; the most common heart disease combined (32) are CIV + PCA, CIA + EVP. eL 53.75son women, men 46.25son.
