    Diseño a nivel de anteproyecto de un equipamiento cultural y de producción para la comunidad de Zhiña en el contexto inmediato a la planta de procesamiento de lácteos “La Zhiñarejita” para reactivar la dinámica económica y cultural.

    The community of Zhiña is located in Nabón, belonging to Azuay province, which has a population of around 4500 people, dedicated to agriculture and livestock activities. Nevertheless, the community is not only characterized by the agriculture and livestock production, but by its culture, which has been maintained during the years, but regreatelly it has been forgotten over time and actually only crafts, customs, traditions and festivals that are celebrated in the community from time to time; because of this it is important to resume all of these aspects, which are very characteristic of the community, so that through the turism the economy and culture of the community can be reactivated. The following work consists on a proposal of a cultural and production facilities, which comes from a participatory design and the study of a project with similar characteristics to the study area, from which is abstracted its methodology to analyze a place based on the selection of study cases that contributes the creation of design criteria that helps to solve the problem shown. The project concludes with a cultural and production facility in the immediate context of the dairy production plant called “La Zhiñarejita” in order to reactivate the economy and culture of the community, turning the place into a public space in which the history, culture and customs can be shown to the visitors, motivate the residents to resume activities that has been lost, and to introduce new business, turning this place into a different tourist attraction that people is accustomed to see.
