Non-carious cervical lesions are characterized by the loss of dental structure at the level of the amelocementary border without a bacterial etiology. Studies show that there is a wide range of prevalence of these lesions that can reach up to 85%, being significant also in Ecuador. The objective of this study is to analyze the existing research papers in Ecuador about prevalence of non-carious cervical lesions, establish their results and present them as a summary. For the selection of articles we rely on publications in English or Spanish since 2010, which have data about the prevalence of LCNC and general concepts. University repositories and databases such as Pub Med and Elsevier were searched to select a total of 23 publications using strategic keywords.
