    Diseño sostenible para vivienda unifamiliar en la Urbanización Colinas de Chaullabamba en la ciudad de Cuenca- Ecuador

    The investigation arises from evidencing the little or contribution of sustainability in the constructions of the urbanization “Colinas de Chaullabamba”. For this reason,it is proposed as an objective to a proposed architectural design with a sustainable approach that contributes to the construction of new homes in the urbanization “Colinas de Chaullabamba”. The research is applied, by design research is not experimental,for its emphasis on the nature of the data is qualitative and quantitative. The level of research is descriptive-explanatory. Based on this study, design and architecture professionals are proposed to develop architectural projects where sustainability isa key element in the designs and materials to be selected. The important thing is that such proposals are framed by the ecological, cultural and scenic features of the environment and the locality
