The implementation of music education for individuals with Down Syndrome is considered of great importance academically due to the sensory characteristics inherent to music, which research asserts are useful for addressing the conditions associated with Down Syndrome. This work presents a didactic guide that allows both teachers and students to follow an organized process of teaching and learning based on the principles of special education. Special education requires the preparation of classes based on curriculum adaptation and flexibility, where teaching is presented in the most appropriate manner according to the students' needs. Therefore, this study investigates and describes the specific characteristics of Down Syndrome as well as musical teaching methods in order to design a guide with suitable activities for the students at the Huiracocha Tutiven Center. The practical contribution consists of creating and applying a didactic guide aimed at students with mental ages ranging from 2 to 4 years, considering the developmental stages presented by Jean Piaget. Finally, a presentation of the results for each activity is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the project
