    Relación entre fluidez lectora y comprensión lectora

    The present study was aimed to determinate if exist relationship between reading fluency and reading comprehension. It was based in a transversal design with a correlational scope, the study population consisted of 62 fourth-grade students from two state schools of Cuenca city, San Roque and Manuela Cañizares. The instruments used were Escala de Fuidez Lectora en Español (EFLE, Leximetria part from the Cuestionaro de Desarrollo Neuropsicológico CUMANES and Comprension Lectora part from the Bateria Psicopedagógica Evalúa 3, adapted edition from Chile, 2.0 to measure the variables reading fluency, reading speed and reading comprehension, respectively. For our sample, the research findings showed a weak correlation between reading fluency and reading comprehension, also to reading speed and reading comprehension. Neither, got a significant statistically difference between man and woman about reading comprehension and reading fluency.
