    In recent years, COVID-19 has marked society in an unexpected way, bringing countless consequences at a social, economic and political level. The media, in their informative work, have taken this situation as a way of showing how the actions of the authorities can affect how they are seen. The problems caused by the coronavirus, in addition to having a high impact on contemporary society, have also meant the guideline for dealing with this type of situation from a communication point of view, since in the sense the entire weight of this problem falls on the authorities. state agencies, which through their management, in addition to trying to reduce the effects of this pandemic as much as possible, must maintain their positive image in front of society and the media All this leads to developing an analysis of the media from two different perspectives, the first, by the press that works within Ecuadorian territory and lives everything that happens throughout this situation, and the second from foreign television media who, through The collection of data offered by correspondents, obtain a perception of the situation experienced in the month of March 2020, the date on which the data for this work was collected. Thus seeking to show which were the neuralgic issues that they took as a priority and show how the management of the crisis by the main government entities affected the perception of citizens.
