Item Caracterización constructiva de elementos estructurales en el bahareque fibras, amarres y ataduras como representación cultural del Azuay(SIACOT, 2015) Maldonado Valverde, Alvaro Felipe; Mejia Coronel, Diana PaulinaItem Fotogrametría digital para el levantamiento 3D del sitio arqueológico de Todos Santos, Cuenca (Ecuador)(2018) Aparicio Resco, Pablo; Espinoza Figueroa, Freddy Edgar; Aguirre Ullauri, María del Cisne; Mejia Coronel, Diana Paulina; Matovelle Jara, CristianAdvances in technology have changed the perspective of the human being on the world; in recent years there has been a rapid increase in technological advances in various fields, conservation and management of cultural heritage have not remained indifferent, three-dimensional digital photogrammetry has broken in its favor, especially in the field of documentation, with possibilities of being used for multiple purposes, involving patrimonial assets such as the case of the archaeological site of Todos Santos in Cuenca (Ecuador), characterized by evidence of three cultures: Cañari, Inca and Española. In this site, a photogrammetric survey was carried out framed in a formative experience that included the process of construction of the 3D model, from the taking of images, to the work in different softwares and the final renderings. The possibilities of this process are versatile, however, complementary as a technical input of knowledge and dissemination to traditional documentation techniques; for cases where its potential contributes to the integral conversation and is adjusted to the availability of existing resourcesItem La vivienda inadecuada en comunidades rurales: el interiorismo como una herramienta para el diseño social(2020) Zhindón Duarte, Jonnathan Andrés; Mejia Coronel, Diana PaulinaAt present there is a large percentage of inadequate housing located in the rural areas of our province, it is notable to find informal housing, without title deeds, where governance policies are not equitable with respect to the completion of adequate housing. Additionally, it is observed that they are built with unsafe materials. The proposed research assumed a qualitative perspective with an exploratory and application scope, and sought to solve a problem in the interior space of houses whose owners belong to a vulnerable economic group, in which interior design is used as a discipline that provides solutions with low-cost materials, to improve their quality of life; in this case the community of Llulluchas -Sayausí in Cuenca -Ecuador was considered to be part of the study and to be the main beneficiaries. Themethodology considers the variables; spatial, thermal, acoustic, lighting, furniture, materiality, quality of life, initial interviews and observation sheets. In this sense, information was collected from six minimum low-income housing units in poor condition, within a specific sector in the community. With reference to the above, important problems were found which needed to be solved quickly, and solutions began to be developed through interior design proposals, focusing on aspects: formal, functional and constructive. In this virtue, the next step was the socialisation of the prototypes to the users who approved the ideas and contributed their opinions based on their needs and experiences in the space of their homes. Given the above conditions, the benefited homes improved the comfort of their interior spaces, where the thermal and lighting aspects represented the greatest difficulty in the proposals generated: low-cost interior design solutions can be generated to improve comfort and safety for families.
