    Organizations have to improve continuously their structures and processes. Business Process Management (BPM) is one of the most used instruments to achieve this. The introduction of this methodology ensures rationality and correct organizational behavior. The methodology is based on techniques, tools and standards implementable through ICTs, a fundamental tool in the new conception of public and private companies.

    Generación de librerías de código base para autenticación a través de certificados SSL generados automáticamente utilizando Java

    This paper describes the processes involved in the creation and evaluation of a Tool for Automatic Generation of Security Infrastructure in Communications using Java. Incorporation of security services in the source code of distributed applications is not that easy and requires, on the one hand the creation of a manual for the security of infrastructure based on digital certificates of public and private OpenSSL keys, and/or security stores. On the other hand, the application developer must incorporate manually in the source code the functions and/or procedures that proproperly manage certificates, keys and stores, to secure automatic implementation of the security services.

    To get the accreditation of their careers, Ecuadorian Higher Education Institutions should be evaluated by CEAACES. These Institutions must achieve some quality criteria. Looking to this goal, Universidad Técnica de Ambato has applied techniques of Business Process Management or BPM, coming from the private sector. This BPM is supported from the Information and Communication Technology. This paper presents an approach to the current situation of the accreditation process in Ecuador, the internal evaluation in Universidad Técnica de Ambato, and the development of an informatics system based on BPM which improves the process collection and validation of evidences.
