Incorporation of security services in the source code of distributed applications is not that easy and requires, on the one hand the creation of a manual for the security of infrastructure based on digital certificates of public and private OpenSSL keys, and/or security stores. These Institutions must achieve some quality criteria. Looking to this goal, Universidad Técnica de Ambato has applied techniques of Business Process Management or BPM, coming from the private sector. This BPM is supported from the Information and Communication Technology. This paper presents an approach to the current situation of the accreditation process in Ecuador, the internal evaluation in Universidad Técnica de Ambato, and the development of an informatics system based on BPM which improves the process collection and validation of evidences.
