Testicular cancer is an oncology which mostly affects men between 15 and 40 years old, representing between 1% and 2% of all forms of cancer. It is important to analyze tumor markers as the human chorionic gonadotropin and alpha-fetoprotein’s beta fraction. The first tumor marker was found elevated in the majorityof testicular cancer, while the alpha-fetoprotein was found elevated in the 70% of the non seminomatous cases of testicular cancer approximately, being necessary to determinate these tumor markers. The objective of this study was to determine the frequency of altered values of the beta fraction of humanchorionic gonadotropin and alpha-fetoprotein in patients diagnosed with testicular cancer at the Institute for the Fight Against Cancer SOLCA between 2017-2019. The study used a descriptive and cross-sectional approach. The data wasobtained through a collection sheet. The variables were described and interpreted through simple and crossed tables with frequency and percentage values, which were prepared using Microsoft Excel and SPSS free version. The results obtained showed that 166 patients with testicular cancer participated in this study where the tumor markers β-HCG and AFP were altered. β-HCG was the most frequent in seminomatous cancer with 55% and AFP with 53%, compared to non-seminomatous cancer with an alteration of AFP of 40% and β-HCG of 38%. The age group with apredominance of cases is from 18 to 30 years.
