    Estudio descriptivo - retrospectivo sobre retraso en el desarrollo en niños del CEDIUC periodo enero 2008 - junio 2009, Cuenca

    We investigated the clinical records of children in the different departments of CEDIUC, from January 2008 to June 2009. In this research the sample consisted of all medical records within that period of time. For data collection forms were used, and then the information collected was entered into the programs Excel, Word, and then analyzed in SPSS 15.0 version.- The main changes in growth were found: Delay language development in fonoaudiology 51.3%, dysfunctional family in the area of psychology 24%, Delay Development in the area of early stimulation test Lezzine Brunet (Baby test) 71.2%. Normal Nutrition, in the area of Nutrition 42.9%, psychomotor growth delay in the field of Physical therapy 60.4%.- 270 children assisted; found that the greatest competition is between the months of January to June of 2008 and 2009. Frequent diagnoses were: Developmental Delay (Early Learning), Normal Nutrition Status (Nutrition), Psychomotor Developmental Delay (Physical Therapy), Delayed Language Development (Speech Therapy) and Dysfunctional Family (Psychology).
